Keyboards Live is an Application to enable the live performance of one or more music keyboards connected to an Apple Mac Computer.
The keyboards may be connected via a MIDI port or directly via USB, for devices which support this.
Sound synthesis is performed by your choice of AudioUnit synthesizer products, including the excellent Apple supplied DLSMusicDevice.
Multiple sounds may be layered for each keyboard, such as Piano and Strings, to allow complex sounds to be produced.
A range of Effects can be applied to any synthesized sound including the Apple supplied AudioUnit effects (delay, reverb etc.), or third party ones may be used.
Song settings are saved as double clickable documents to enable rapid change over from one song to another in a live environment.
